Is there a way to remove stains caused by rotting fruit from the bottom of baskets?

I have a couple of Longaberger baskets that have stains on the bottom from rotting fruit such as peaches or tomatoes. Is there a way to remove those stains?

a mild bleach solution along with some liquid dish soap should do the trick, also, leave the basket out in the sun for a while, it will bleach the stain
Reply:Pour some lemon juice on the stains, wipe it in well, then put the baskets in the sun to dry.
Reply:Only by a bleach and water solution...or Lemon Juice...I would leave a towel or rag saturated in either choice on the stain for a few hours....It really doesn%26#039;t wipe off....I have done that....sometimes I can%26#039;t get it out....so next time put a piece of foil folded up on the bottom of the basket and up the sides about 1 1/2 %26quot;s to avoid it happening again......
Reply:try vinegar and water you might have to go over them a couple of times but the staines should at leaste start to fade and any smells would definetly be gone from the vinegar try it.as it is your best shot at restoring the baskets.if that does not work go to the supermarket in the cleaning isle and buy a mr clean magic eraser and clean the bottom of the basket with that thats a sure winner if it can get out markers and skid marks and greese i am sure it can clean dryed up fruit in the bottom of your basket thats a guarentee that idear.whatever one you wabt to try first go ahead your choice.
