Fruit basket question?

I received a fruit basket and I%26#039;d like to know how long it will take before it goes bad? I don%26#039;t want to eat all the fruit. Should I wrap it up? What can I do to make it last longer

Put the fruit in the refrigerator, if you have a drawer put them in there. Leave the bananas on the counter and if they are ripe eat them first as they won%26#039;t last long. The rest of them should last a few weeks if in the fruit drawer.
Reply:It depends on the fruit. Bananas will last a few days,so should be eaten quickly. Other fruit like pears, apples, oranges and grapes will last longer. Put them in the refrigerator where they will last for 1 - 2 weeks.
Reply:It depends what type of fruit and how ripe it already is. Generally, dont wrap it in plastic as it will sweat and go off quicker. Separate any bananas from the other fruit or they will ripen too quickly. If things look really ripe and you want to make them last longer, put them in the fridge. But best eaten at room temp!
