Fruit basket question?

I received a fruit basket and I%26#039;d like to know how long it will take before it goes bad? I don%26#039;t want to eat all the fruit. Should I wrap it up? What can I do to make it last longer

Put the fruit in the refrigerator, if you have a drawer put them in there. Leave the bananas on the counter and if they are ripe eat them first as they won%26#039;t last long. The rest of them should last a few weeks if in the fruit drawer.
Reply:It depends on the fruit. Bananas will last a few days,so should be eaten quickly. Other fruit like pears, apples, oranges and grapes will last longer. Put them in the refrigerator where they will last for 1 - 2 weeks.
Reply:It depends what type of fruit and how ripe it already is. Generally, dont wrap it in plastic as it will sweat and go off quicker. Separate any bananas from the other fruit or they will ripen too quickly. If things look really ripe and you want to make them last longer, put them in the fridge. But best eaten at room temp!

In a bucket, maybe you can paint it or give it to them in a nice bowl. Also a hat box is fine.
Reply:You might be able to find a suitable wooden crate at a craft store and fill it will something like potting moss then arrange your fruit in it. Cover it with tinted cellophane (also at a crafting store), and tie a nice cloth ribbon around it.





You could also arrange into a nice kettle or cooking pot.





A nice plastic storage container that%26#039;s transparent could be dressed up.





Even a wire mesh office garbage can would work.





You could check out the housewares and office supply areas of your local department stores to get some ideas.

Fruit Basket Thing?

Does anyone know the name of that company that delivers not exactly fruit baskets, but fruit made designed in a beautiful tower pattern. I always see the truck driving around with the name on it, but I can%26#039;t remember the name right now for some reason. I want to send one to one of my friends. She always talked about how cool the company was, and how she looked online at it, and how she was going to send herself one. It was a company that pretty much delivered fruite towers to people.
